Saffil

Saffil blanket is available 25mm thick with a classification temperature of 1600C where a high efficiency product is required with a high teperature resistance. Saffil alumina fibres are high purity polycrystaline and have been designed to overcome problems in demanding high temperature insulation.

Pyrogel XT

Pyrogel is one of the most efficient insulating materials available, supplied in a convenient roll of either 5 or 10mm thick and can be used for lagging or a backup insulation or even hot face lining temperatures of up to 650C.

Where space is at a premium it is possible to re-engineer your existing application to use Pyrogel to provide additional furnance capacity.

If Energy is a prime concern then adding 10mm Pyrogel as a back up insulation will have a marked effect on energy usage.

Microporous Insulation

With a service limit of 1000C, and available in a range of hsapes and sizes including rigid board and flexible sheet, Microporous Insulation provides a similar level of Thermal Efficiency to Pyrogel XT.

Calcium Silicate Board

A general purpose back up insulation available as a solid board in a variety of thicknesses with a service limit of up to 1150C.

Vermiculite Board

Lightweight Insulation Board available in a range of thicknesses primiarily for use as insulation in solid fuel burning stoves.
